My Background
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics from Ursinus College, a Master’s Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from St. Joseph’s University, a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice Management from Madison University, and a J.D. from the Rutgers University School of Law. I have conducted criminal justice and international criminal law research since 1998, have taught a variety of criminal justice courses at several leading universities for more than a decade, and have been immersed in international adoption law since 2005. I formerly served as a prosecutor with the Philadelphia Office of the District Attorney, trying hundreds of misdemeanor and felony cases, ranging in seriousness from drug possession to rape. My experience is my strength.
